Each year the Master & Wardens of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants host a dinner for the members of the Financial Services Group and Masters of the other Livery Companies who are Associates or Fellows of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. I was delighted to join them in January in the magnificent surroundings of One Moorgate Place, also known as Chartered Accountants Hall. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks in the Members’ Room which is an amazing location with an internal balcony over proceedings, which also displays some of the silverware of the Accountants Company. Our dinner was held in the magnificent main Reception Room which has a very impressive domed ceiling and striking murals by George Murray, evoking classical scenes. Dinner was sumptuous and a great evening was had by all.
