The Company of Entrepreneurs’ Trust, in collaboration with The Company of Entrepreneurs, presents a showcase of this year's Entrepreneurs' Award in Social Innovation (EASI25) on the evening of Monday 19th January, beginning at 6pm (arrivals from 5.30pm). The EASI25 Winner Carbon Cell, alongside the 2025 cohort of five other Finalists will be on hand to talk about the impact of EASI's package of funding and mentorship for early-stage purpose-driven businesses. Put your questions to them and to the EASI team, and enjoy drinks and canapes into the evening. The Spring Lunch takes place on the Tuesday before Mothering Sunday. Members and their business guests are nourished physically and intellectually by a good lunch in palatial surroundings, and a top-notch speaker. The United Guilds Service takes place on Friday 20th March, 2026 at St Paul's Cathedral. A gathering-together of the Livery Companies, Companies, and Guilds of the City, with the Lord Mayors, Sheriffs, Aldermen, and Common Council. The Cathedral is packed for this celebration and rededication of the City and Livery. Please note that there are restrictions on who can sit where in the Cathedral. The nineteenth Big Curry Lunch will be held at Guildhall on Thursday 16th April 2026, and the event opens from 11.45am. Join the Master Entrepreneur, and representatives of the Company's three military affiliates for a complementary glass of fizz ahead of lunch in Guildhall itself at 1.15pm. Choose from unlimited curry and drinks, followed by coffee and chocolates. Both before and after lunch, there’s plenty to see and do to explore the City’s relationship with HM Armed Forces, and lots of way for you to support the three service charities throughout the afternoon. The "Livery assembled in Common Hall" elects two Sheriffs each Midsummer Day at Guildhall. This delightful piece of City pageantry is the first of two elections (the other being at Michaelmas to elect a Lord Mayor), and, in the summer sunshine and with all the civic member carrying posies of flowers, a colourful and highly photogenic affair. Normally, one of the Sheriffs is an Alderman, who will hope to go on to become the Lord Mayor one day; and the other, sometimes referred to as the Non-Aldermanic Sheriff, takes on this senior civic role for just one year at the Old Bailey.
