Every year, the Guild of Entrepreneurs Trust makes thousands of pounds’ worth of grants to individuals, organisations and charities to advance academic and practical skills in business and entrepreneurship. The deadline for applications for 2021 grants (payable from May 2021) has been extended to 14th October 2020. This is particularly relevant to Y13 students considering enrolling on business studies courses at university in September 2021, and final year undergraduates looking to move on to postgraduate programmes.
Are you:
If the answer is yes, then please visit https://guildofentrepreneurstrust.org/beneficiary-applications/ for more information about grants and a straightforward online application form. Applications need not be very detailed at this stage – a simple outline of your position and circumstances is all that is required to begin the process. The Trustee Board conducts a paper sift on 15th October, and more detailed information will be sought from longlisted candidates in January 2021.
UPDATE: a previous version of this article referred to the original deadline of 30th September, 2020. Owing to the disruption to academic timetables caused by COVID-19, the Trustee Board has extended the deadline by 2 weeks.
