25th November 2015 – The Guild of Entrepreneurs has celebrated its first anniversary with the Installation of Daniel (Dan) Doherty as Master for the year ensuing. The ceremony took place at the Painters Hall in the presence of Nigel Pullman, the Chairman of the Livery Committee, and was attended by David Peregrine-Jones, the Master of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants. Alderman Sir Paul Judge, the Foundation Master installed new Master Dan, who led the founding team to gain approval for the Guild from the City of London’s Court of Aldermen in 2014, in the presence of more than 100 Freemen, guests of the Guild and City and Livery dignitaries. In turn Mr Doherty installed:

Middle Warden: Kate Jolly
Junior Warden: Lee Robertson
The new Master was blessed by the Guild Chaplain the Rev. Betrand Olivier, Vicar of the Guild Church, All Hallows by the Tower. A carpet Guard was provided by members of the national championship winning Thurrock Marching Brass of which the Master was a founder member and through which he gained his first taste of City life and pageantry having performed in the Lord Mayor’s Show as a bandsman in the late 1970s.
