On 25th June 2026, the Election Court sat at the City of London's Small Business Research + Enterprise Centre to elect a Master and three Wardens to serve from 24th November 2026.

The Master Entrepreneur, Alderman Sir Alastair King, congratulated all those elected - noting with particular interest the ambitious plans for the 2026-27 Company Year under the leadership of Mrs Bologna.

Under the Ordinances, the results of the Election Court must be formally declaimed at the Election Court Banquet on 1st July 2026.

 

NOTES: The Election Court sits on the last Thursday in June and, in addition to the regular business of Court, is required to elect a Master and three Wardens to serve from the following November (on or around 24th). Any voting member of Court may be elected to fill any of the offices.

The Company's Ordinances require that a banquet takes place following the Election Court - typically this is in early July. The names of those elected are read out by the Master at the end of dinner.
