Livery Companies and the City of London support Guildhall School through bursaries and prizes, by contributing to project costs, and hosting special performances. The Company of Entrepreneurs Trust has supported two bursaries through the Guildhall’s Creative Entrepreneurs course – fostering crucial enterprise and business skills in talented musicians and performers. A key part of developing musical enterprise is the opportunity for paid performance work, and the Company of Entrepreneurs is delighted to offer students in GSMD’s Jazz Department a properly-paid performance slot at its Autumn Jazz Dinner.
 
For the third year, the Master Entrepreneur, Freemen and guests have welcomed virtuosi from GSMD to perform at this special dinner held each September – supporting and encouraging the development of performers, and offering them access and exposure to a wide network of businesses and music-loving individuals.
